All WoW Species and Classes in D&D Revealed
The realms of fantasy and high-stakes warfare are set to collide in a monumental crossover event as Wizards of the Coast, the maker of Dungeons & Dragons, unveils its biggest collaboration yet: D&D: Worldcraft.
This massive expansion books alongside the highly anticipated Icecrown Citadel Map Pack, promising adventurers a journey into the world of Azeroth. This project marks a significant step for tabletop gaming, as it is the first Dungeons & Dragons expansion to fall under the Universes Beyond banner, a program dedicated to weaving together beloved third-party franchises with classic tabletop gameplay.
The collaboration brings World of Warcraft back to the table for the first time in two decades. By drawing heavily on deep lore from Azeroth, D&D: Worldcraft invites players to explore the world through a breadth of character choices, challenging dungeons, and epic quests set across various eras of the Warcraft universe.
What makes this expansion truly expansive is the sheer volume of content packed within. Players will delve into details covering every playable WoW species and class—including the elusive Pandaren—along with an extensive array of mechanics. The package includes 26 magic items, seven iconic WoW dungeons, 30 dungeon boss stat blocks, and over 60 new spells and 50+ new monsters.
Beyond the combat mechanics, the expansion provides deep immersion into the world itself. Adventurers will engage with 23 factions offering renown rewards, rich profession systems, customizable mounts, companion creatures, and far more details drawn directly from WoW lore, ensuring that every decision has a meaningful impact on their journey.
The excitement is already building for the release. Pre-orders for D&D: World of Warcraft are currently live, offering early access starting November 3. The full expansion is slated for wide release on November 17, setting the stage for the upcoming Season of Champions.
