The ongoing battle for fair play in competitive gaming continues, with developers of Apex Legends providing fresh statistics on their anti-cheat efforts.

Respawn Entertainment has recently shared an update from its anti-cheat team, detailing the scope of recent enforcement actions against unfair practices within the shooter game.

Since the end of April, the team has reported that nearly 6,000 hardware bans have been issued across both PC and console platforms. This highlights the persistent effort to maintain the integrity of the competitive environment for players worldwide.

These figures follow a significantly larger tally previously announced in May. Back then, the anti-cheat team had reported 139,697 bans covering all platforms where Apex Legends is playable.

The escalating numbers underscore the continuous and determined work being done to ensure that the competitive experience remains equitable for all participants, reinforcing the commitment to a genuine and fair gaming landscape.
