One of the most anticipated additions are two brand-new characters, each offering a completely unique playstyle. Meet the Ballbearer, who doubles down on firepower. This character grants you double the amount of ball slots to build an arsenal, but demands that you sacrifice passive items entirely. In contrast, the Hoary Hoarder takes a different route, focusing on heavy gear. They only have two ball slots but compensate with twice as many passive slots, letting powerful item Evolutions do the heavy lifting.

Beyond new characters, the game is getting a serious injection of chaotic energy with eleven brand-new balls, each introducing a distinct physical force to the battlefield:

• Lightning Bug lights up the arena by spawning fireflies with every bounce, zapping nearby targets with lightning.
• Mosquito Kingdom builds a buzzing swarm that hunts down the weakest enemy, dealing significant damage and offering health recovery when a kill is made.
