Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 6 launch The Haunting Sept 17

Prepare to face the shadows, because the next chapter of the Call of Duty universe has arrived, bringing a chilling supernatural update for Season 06. The Haunting has unleashed a wave of evil across both Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone, dropping new maps, terrifying modes, and unique rewards starting Thursday, September 17.

For those diving into the new Black Ops 7, the nightmare takes center stage with the forbidden Avalon Night event. Operators will face an eerie landscape as they unlock the seals to summon a terrifying creature, plunging them into supernatural conflict.

The multiplayer landscape is getting a serious shake-up with brand new environments. Players can now explore the gritty Quantum facility, a guild computing center buried beneath Arctic ice, and descend into the blood-soaked Bloodstead homestead, where unexplainable horrors lurk around every corner.

Beyond the fresh maps, the mode selection is equally unsettling. Introducing T.E.D.D. Trials, a frantic 6v6 challenge where players engage in a rotating series of iconic Zombies maps like Roadkill, Inferno, and Lost, wielding ray guns against an endless horde.

Another highly anticipated mode is Hordepoint, an undead twist on the classic Hardpoint. Here, zombies roam the map, adapting their attacks based on team control, forcing players to hold objectives while battling the encroaching dead.

The Zombies experience is also steeped in dread. Players can rally against the undead in the new survival map Tenshu, fighting to reach round milestones. For a closer, more intense experience, the Rex Infernus Directed Mode offers guided missions, while the new Rogue Run mode introduces new maps and exciting pedestal rewards, including Pack-a-Punch IV and Golden Armor.

And for those who love the roguelite twist, the experience is even more festive with the Pumpkin Zombies Super Easter Egg, where players must fend off pumpkin-headed specters and discover treats across all playlists.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Warzone transforms into a realm of occult terror with the launch of Haunted Hollow. This nighttime variant of Haven’s Hollow is filled with eldritch horrors, demanding caution as players navigate the ruined landscape.

Warzone also throws in unique events like the Ghost Train, where players must phase a spectral train back into reality, and the Giant Infected LTM, a brutal Survivors vs. Infected scenario where the goal is to construct a DNA Bomb to stop the outbreak.

To further enhance the season, players can earn exclusive rewards through the Battle Pass, unlocking new Weapon Blueprints like the VMP SMG and TR51 Para Assault Rifle, alongside Operator Skins and the new Revenant Operator. The season culminates with themed rewards, including the Doom Demonic Essence Bundle, ensuring that the supernatural theme is woven into every victory.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone are available now on PS5 and PS4, ready for you to enter the haunted realm.
