Delta Force celebrates 2nd anniversary and new season
Delta Force Evolves: Two Years of Community Feedback Lead to Massive Game Upgrade
For two years, the community has been at the helm, and the developers at Team Jade have spent that time listening intently. As the free-to-play tactical shooter Delta Force approaches its second anniversary, the roadmap is less about incremental updates and more about a serious, game-changing expansion. The evolution of the title—spanning PC, mobile, and Xbox Series X|S—is a testament to how effectively player feedback can be used to craft an unforgettable experience.
The celebration is already underway, kicking off September 26th with daily rewards, including the chance to snag up to 3900 limited-time Delta Tickets and brand-new collectibles, such as the legendary Golden State appearance for the AUG. But the excitement doesn’t stop there; Team Jade has laid out ambitious plans for the future, focusing on reducing friction for players and giving them more time to simply enjoy the action.
This season, focused on Season Reorientation, has delivered several quality-of-life improvements. Players can now move through the game with greater ease thanks to features like one-click loadouts, streamlining the preparation process. Furthermore, the introduction of the Combat Support Fund, an in-game loan system, ensures that players can acquire necessary items more efficiently, letting them focus on the battle rather than the logistics.
The major shakeup arrives with massive new content planned for 2027. A major highlight is the introduction of Siege: Valkyrie, a new Operations map built on Unreal Engine 5 technology. This map splits players into two distinct environments: an opulent, wealthy inner city rife with danger, and a struggling outer city demanding survival. Players must navigate complex rules and risks to extract safely or pursue massive payouts, making every move a calculated gamble.
The integration of Unreal Engine 5 extends beyond maps. The Warfare mode is also receiving these advanced features, launching with the new map The Mog. This map brings a thrilling convoy escort experience, inspired by classic military drama, where players take on the role of a G.T.I. escorting a convoy while facing threats from Haavk and even Black Hawk helicopters.
Adding fresh tactical depth, a brand new mode called Detonation is entering beta on September 27th for PC and mobile players. This fast-paced mode pits attacking teams against defenders in a race to plant and defuse a bomb, requiring split-second tactical decisions and brilliant positioning to shift the tide of battle.
For those who love exploration, the Operations mode is also getting a relaxing twist. The map Layali Grove 2.0 introduces expanded river areas where players can engage in fishing, offering new progression systems and unique map-specific catches to display in your Collection Room aquarium. It’s a chance to breathe and explore alongside the conflict.
The lore is also taking center stage, with the release of the first volume of the Operator Archives, a story series exploring the backgrounds of Delta Force Operators. This is complemented by upcoming features like Operator Quarters, which will give players a dedicated space to customize and socialize with friends.
Even for the most experienced players, the gameplay evolves. In the Operations mode, the introduction of Play-as-a-boss in Polaris Patrol allows players to embody powerful figures like Security Director Desmoulins, ensuring richer, more balanced encounters for all sides. Delta Force is not just keeping up; it is actively expanding the range of ways players can interact with the world, ensuring the competitive scene continues to grow with every update.
Delta Force remains free to play and available on multiple platforms, ready for continued evolution across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Android, iOS, Google Play, Epic Game Store, and Steam.
