Diablo 4 hotfix increases Mythic drop rates and removes equipping limits

Loot hunting in Diablo 4 has always been a grueling, often frustrating endeavor, but recently, that frustration boiled over into a significant community outcry. The focus of these modifications centered primarily on Mythic loot and player flexibility. In a recent patch, Blizzard introduced immediate changes aimed at making those rare drops more attainable. Specifically, they increased the drop rate for Mythics from the Corrupted Reaper boss fight, giving dedicated farmers a slightly better chance at the legendary gear they craved.

To further empower players and allow for more creative build strategies, equip limits were removed for Mythic Uniques. This change was designed to alleviate the restrictions that previously limited how many unique items players could possess, significantly broadening the options available to those building their ideal characters.

But the adjustments didn’t stop there. Blizzard promised further enhancements in upcoming patches. Looking ahead, players can anticipate new rewards, including Superior Lair Keys added to the Glints of Hope repeatable cache and increased Mythic Tribute drop rates within the Undercity.
