Doctor Doom has kidnapped Spider-Man a fan theory
The Marvel universe is buzzing with new revelations, and one wild theory is swirling among fans regarding the fate of Earth’s mightiest heroes. As the Avengers: Endgame Encore footage hits theaters, it offers a tantalizing glimpse that connects the past with the looming threat of Avengers: Doomsday.
Earlier leaks of the Encore scenes revealed a dramatic unfolding: Bruce Banner, hiding from the Savage Hulk, found his sanctuary infiltrated by the nefarious Doctor Doom, who managed to abduct him. This dramatic event immediately sparked a theory that the villain is not just after the Hulk, but is actively collecting the Avengers.
The real intrigue, however, lies in connecting this moment to Peter Parker. One observant fan noted that when Doom made his move on Banner, everything seemed to glitch. This visual anomaly mirrors a subtle detail seen in the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, suggesting a hidden connection between the two cinematic moments. The compelling leap suggested by this coincidence is that Doctor Doom may have already taken Spider-Man.
This notion is further supported by the teaser for Avengers: Doomsday. While many speculated about the future of the team, the idea that Doom is orchestrating a larger scheme—a grand collection of heroes—gains serious traction. It connects beautifully with earlier suspicions about Steve Rogers, who, after traveling through time in Endgame, may have been involved, perhaps even as the villainous Hydro Cap.
The theory posits that Doctor Doom has been systematically gathering powerful heroes for some time, and Spider-Man is merely the latest acquisition in this ongoing collection. With the promise of upcoming Marvel movies and shows, fans are eager to see if this epic narrative of hero gathering will come to life on screen.
Mark your calendars: Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit cinemas on December 18, with a UK release on December 16. Prepare yourselves for a thrilling new chapter in the Marvel saga.
