FH6 Premium Expansion and PS5 Launch Set for 2027
The racing community is already buzzing about the next chapter in the Horizon saga. Following the massive success of Forza Horizon 5, the question on everyone’s mind is whether the next installment will deliver the same thrilling experience. The anticipation is high, and the answer, it seems, is a resounding yes.
Playground Games has unveiled exciting plans for the next evolution of the series, announcing the forthcoming launch of Forza Horizon 6. This anticipated title is set to hit the PlayStation 5, bringing fresh adrenaline and stunning landscapes to the console generation.
But the excitement doesn’t stop at the console exclusivity. Playground Games is committed to a truly unified racing experience, planning to roll out Forza Horizon 6 alongside its first Premium Expansion pack across all major platforms. This means players across PS5, Xbox, and Steam will be able to share the world of Horizon.
The launch date for this cross-platform adventure is slated for January 21, 2027. For PlayStation fans, the action gets even more immediate. While the game technically launches on the PS5 on January 26, 2027, dedicated gamers can prepare for the action five days early through the Horizon Festival.
This special event will highlight the full scope of the cross-platform functionality, allowing players to enjoy seamless cross-platform racing and the convenience of cross-save features across the PS5, Xbox, and Steam versions of the top-notch racer. It’s a true celebration of shared racing passion.
