First Look at 3 Mega Evolution Cards from Pokémon TCG Delta Reign
Get ready to ignite your collections, because the world of Pokémon Trading Card Game is about to get a massive boost. IGN has just unveiled a tantalizing glimpse of three brand-new card designs from the highly anticipated set, Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution — Delta Reign.
Scheduled to launch on November 6, this new batch promises to be packed with power, featuring powerful Mega Evolution creatures like Mega Malamar, Mega Golurk, and the legendary Mega Rayquaza. Fans can expect to explore over 135 unique designs in this spectacular addition.
But the excitement doesn’t stop with the Mega Evolutions. The reveal also introduced the adorable starter Pokémon Sprigatito, the Grass Cat, alongside its formidable evolutions, Floragato and Meowscarada, giving players a delightful taste of the next generation.
Diving into the details of the starter line, Sprigatito is introduced in a charming setting, seemingly taking a late morning nap on a trainer’s bed. While its base stats sit at 70 HP, its initial attack, Play Rough, is noted as lacking some punch, setting the stage for powerful evolutionary leaps.
The evolution path quickly escalates the power. When Sprigatito evolves into Floragato, it gains an impressive 90 HP and a stronger Slash attack dealing 60 damage. This groundwork leads directly to the ultimate goal: evolving into Meowscarada ex, a card that is poised for dominance.
Meowscarada ex boasts a robust 320 HP and a formidable Magical Bullet attack. This signature move can unleash a whopping 120 damage against the opponent, and an additional 120 damage to any damaged benched Pokémon, making it a truly devastating threat on the battlefield.
Adding an extra layer of strategic depth, Meowscarada ex will also count for two prizes if it manages to knock out its opponent, further enhancing its impact in competitive play.
This latest expansion follows the massive success of the recent Pokémon 30th Anniversary release. That initial launch ignited enormous demand, leading to long queues, intense fights among collectors, and significant disappointment for those hoping to profit from rare cards. Now, with Mega Evolution — Delta Reign, the excitement continues, promising fresh designs and epic power for every card collector.
