For those unfamiliar with the journey, holds a special place in the timeline. It served as the perfect launchpad for the Disney Plus era of the MCU, weaving a deeply emotional narrative that ties directly into the events of . The series delves into the aftermath of tragedy, following the grief-stricken Wanda Maximoff as she attempts to construct a happy, idyllic life using magic. It is a story about rebuilding, and the complexities of letting go.
The story culminates in a fascinating twist: Wanda allows the magically created Vision to disappear, while S.W.O.R.D. manages to create a fully rebuilt, all-white version of Vision. This reborn Vision is the catalyst for the next adventure, stepping into the world of <VisionQuest> and inviting the notoriously chaotic Ultron (portrayed by James Spader) to live in his new reality.
The emotional core of the series is anchored by an incredible ensemble cast. Orla Brady brings the formidable presence of FRIDAY, while Emily Hampshire shines as EDITH, and James D’Arcy steps into the role of JARVIS—yes, that very same JARVIS—giving the narrative a familiar yet fresh touch. Ruaridh Mollica plays Tommy Maximoff, Wanda’s son, whose story continues to unfold in related narratives.
The tension escalates as the plot moves forward. In the trailers, the interaction between the reborn Vision and Tommy Maximoff is set to be quite memorable, with Ultron delivering a line that promises delightful mischief: “You really are a son of a witch.” It’s a perfect blend of high stakes and witty character dynamics.
VisionQuest is set to arrive in October, promising a vibrant and unexpected crossover. Fans can look forward to more news regarding the game and anticipated cameos, especially considering the connection between the two worlds.
