The latest wave of indie brilliance is landing on the console, and the recent ID@XBOX and IGN Showcase delivered a spectacular preview of what’s coming to XBOX. From groundbreaking action RPGs to cozy collection sims, the lineup promises a year packed with diverse and unforgettable experiences.
The showcase featured exciting world premieres and long-awaited announcements, demonstrating the platform’s growing appetite for unique, artist-driven games. Highlights included the reveal of A Game About Digging a Hole Together, a charming subterranean sandbox adventure where players dig, collect, and uncover buried treasure alongside friends. This title is set to arrive on XBOX Series X|S, XBOX on PC, and Game Pass on December 4, 2026.

For those looking for deep strategy, Drill Keeper, a deck-building roguelike siege defense game, will launch in summer 2027.
