Metro 2039 Collector’s Edition selling out fast
The air is electric. Pre-orders for Metro 2039 are officially live, and the gaming world is already buzzing with anticipation for the next installment in the dystopian saga. While the Standard Edition is flying off the shelves, those looking for the ultimate collector’s haul are facing a bit of a scavenger hunt.
For those simply looking to dive into the experience, securing a Standard Edition is straightforward. Retailers are offering the game at competitive prices, with options available across major platforms like PlayStation 5 and Xbox. If you are aiming for a smooth launch experience, locking in your Standard copy now is the sensible choice, as stock for these versions is expected to remain plentiful.
However, the real treasure hunt lies in the premium editions. Metro 2039 also boasts a $109.99 Deluxe Edition, which bundles the core game with an impressive array of extras. This package includes physical and digital art books, an exclusive soundtrack, and a story expansion DLC, making it a true collector’s prize.
The pinnacle of the pre-order frenzy, the Collector’s Edition, features even more exclusive content, including a wearable replica Spartan Helmet and a stunning hardback art book. This top-tier bundle represents the most elaborate package, featuring all the digital and physical memorabilia, including the exclusive story expansion DLC, making it a highly desirable item.
Despite the high demand, securing these deluxe and collector bundles can prove tricky. While some retailers are still holding stock, the most sought-after bumper packs are currently experiencing limited availability across the web, meaning those chasing the absolute rarest editions need to act fast.
Fans planning for the February 4, 2027 release should note that while the Standard and Digital Deluxe options are readily available, physical Deluxe and Collector’s Editions are proving more elusive. If you are set on owning the premium physical package, securing your pre-order now is highly recommended to avoid potential shortages down the line.
Ultimately, whether you choose the entry-level standard experience or the lavish collector’s edition, the opportunity to secure your copy is there. Just remember to check your preferred retailer, as the window for these exciting Metro 2039 packages is open now.
