The new installment features superstar 20-year-old Macklin Celebrini gracing the cover, alongside much-anticipated improvements to game mechanics, including sharper graphics, rebuilt team playbooks, and updated camera work.

But beyond the familiar upgrades, the biggest buzz centers on a feature fans have been requesting for years: Connected Franchise. This mode introduces a deep level of team management that allows players to manage their franchises in a dynamic league environment.

However, when this highly requested mode was first announced, some questions arose regarding its scope and implementation. The details surrounding Connected Franchise quickly led to some spirited debate among the community about how the feature would function in practice.

One key detail clarified by EA is that Connected Franchise currently supports only human-controlled teams.
