Poison Ivy & Harley Quinn Swimwear Skins Locked in Fortnite modes

The world of gaming just got a whole lot hotter. Epic Games has dropped a wave of incredibly revealing characters into Fortnite, ushering in what some are calling the game’s most skimpy summer yet.

In a move that has certainly turned some heads, DC icons Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn have arrived in skimpy swimwear. This new content is part of Epic Games’ “Hot Bat Summer” promotion, which also features exciting additions like Batman gadgets, a gliding Batmobile, and even a Batman Sprite joining the battle royale action.

Beyond the fashionable outfits, these new skins reflect a noticeable relaxation of guidelines within the game. Fortnite has openly loosened its standards for released content, finally permitting male skins to feature nipples and introducing so-called “jiggle physics” to female characters. The level of exposure is certainly on display, particularly with Poison Ivy’s new look, which many are calling arguably the most revealing skin in the game history.

To manage this adult content, Epic Games has taken a measured step: both Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn skins have been locked out of modes for players aged 12 and under. This decision follows previous actions taken for designs with horror elements, such as Venom or Alien’s Xenomorph.

While these stunning new outfits remain accessible in all standard Battle Royale modes, the age restrictions primarily affect player-created modes set to lower ratings. Furthermore, fans can enjoy these characters in separate LEGO minifigure versions for use in dedicated LEGO modes.

The creative freedom continues as the item shop also features other exciting additions. In the coming days, players will be able to unlock skins featuring England sporting hero David Beckham and a take on The Odyssey star Matt Damon as Odysseus.

Adding further sparkle to the update, a trailer for the new content introduced some unexpected celebrity cameos. It featured music and a brief animated appearance from singer Addison Rae, raising the question of whether she might be the next big name to headline Fortnite Festival.
