With the release date locked in for February 16, 2027, the countdown is officially on, and now is the perfect time to scope out the special editions and the exclusive bonuses waiting for you.
Sony recently dropped the announcement, giving players a concrete date to mark on their calendars. While the pricing remains a delightful mystery, industry whispers suggest the Standard Edition will land around $69.99, with the Digital Deluxe package potentially reaching up to $89.99. Whether you opt for physical or digital, you are guaranteed to be getting your hands on the game itself.
The real excitement, however, lies in the pre-order bonuses. Instead of just waiting for the game, players will be rewarded with exclusive content centered around the highly anticipated Dark Alchemy system, offering unique cosmetic items and in-game assets right from the start. It turns the pre-order into an exciting opportunity to gear up for the journey ahead.
For those eyeing the Standard Edition, the package includes valuable additions such as the Last Wish Armor Set, the Phranque Golden Leaves Appearance (a cosmetic treat), and an exclusive in-game resource pack. It’s an excellent way to start your adventure with immediate cosmetic flair and a head start in your inventory.
The Digital Deluxe edition, however, offers an even more robust collection of exclusive goodies. This premium package features the full complement of Dark Alchemy items, including the Dark Alchemy Armor Set, the Dark Alchemy Blade, Dark Alchemy Bow Scales, and the Dark Alchemy Catalyst. Plus, digital enthusiasts will receive an exclusive mini artbook and the official digital soundtrack, making it an unparalleled package for immersion.
Where should you place your order? The choice of retailer depends on where you shop and what deals you find. On the US side, Amazon is a strong contender for the Standard Edition, often offering Prime member benefits and exclusive bonuses. Other retailers like Best Buy and Walmart are also worth monitoring for their pre-order availability.
For UK shoppers, Amazon UK is recommended for the Standard Edition to ensure speedy delivery, while stores like Currys and Smyths Toys offer their own unique pre-order options, sometimes including exclusive in-store collection opportunities. Make sure to check the PlayStation Store for the Digital Deluxe option.
While there is no playable demo available yet, PlayStation has showcased some exciting gameplay during their State of Play event, giving us a sneak peek at the masterful combat and exploration that awaits.
