Hori Mini Wired Gamepad Review: A PS4 Pad for Small Hands
6.5/10 — Hori Mini Wired Gamepad (PS4)
Works with: PS4, PC
Pros
- Small size suits younger players
- Officially licensed
- Very affordable
Cons
- Wired only
- Drops features like rumble
- Too small for most adults
Hori’s Mini Wired Gamepad is designed for younger players who find the DualShock 4 too big. It’s officially licensed by Sony and very affordable.
Design
It’s noticeably smaller than the DualShock 4, with the same button layout, making it easier for children to hold. To keep the size and price down, it drops features such as rumble, and it’s wired only.
Verdict
The Hori Mini Wired Gamepad is a sensible, cheap choice for younger PS4 players or a spare pad for family gaming. Adults will want something larger.
