Nacon Revolution X Unlimited Review: Feature-Packed and Comfortable
8/10 — Nacon Revolution X Unlimited
Works with: Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC
Pros
- Excellent, satisfying face buttons
- Comfortable grips with adjustable weights
- Rear buttons and profiles
- Charging stand included
Cons
- Expensive
- Bulkier than the standard Xbox pad
Nacon has made a name for itself with premium officially licensed controllers, and the Revolution X Unlimited is its flagship for Xbox. It’s one of the most widely recommended third-party Xbox controllers available.
Design and features
It’s a little chunkier than Microsoft’s own pad, with comfortable grips and weights that can be added or removed to change its feel. Its face buttons are a highlight: firm, responsive and satisfying. There are rear buttons that can be mapped to any input, along with multiple profiles that can be tweaked through Nacon’s software.
It works both wired and wirelessly, and comes with a charging stand, which makes it easy to keep topped up.
Verdict
The Nacon Revolution X Unlimited is a comfortable, feature-packed controller that gives the Xbox Elite Series 2 a run for its money. It’s pricey, but if you want a premium pad that isn’t made by Microsoft, it’s an excellent choice.
