Scuf Prestige Review: Light, Wireless and Paddle-Packed
7/10 — Scuf Prestige
Works with: Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC
Pros
- Four removable rear paddles
- Lightweight and comfortable
- Interchangeable thumbsticks and faceplates
- Built-in rechargeable battery
Cons
- Expensive
- Standard sticks can drift
- Replaced by the Instinct Pro
The Scuf Prestige was Scuf’s wireless controller for the Xbox One generation, and it was popular with competitive players who wanted paddles without the weight of Microsoft’s Elite controller.
Design and features
It’s notably lighter than the Elite, with four removable rear paddles that can be remapped, interchangeable thumbsticks and swappable faceplates. A built-in rechargeable battery means no fiddling with AAs. It works with Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Verdict
The Scuf Prestige is a comfortable, lightweight competitive controller. It has been replaced by the Instinct Pro, and it’s expensive for what it is, but if you prefer a light pad with paddles, it’s still a good second-hand find.
