See the shocking power of the new Delta Reign Pokemon card
Get ready to electrify your collection, because a stunning new reveal has landed for the upcoming Delta Reign set of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This isn’t just another card; it’s a masterpiece, and it comes with a serious dose of strategic risk.
The featured reveal is Raikou ex, an iconic Legendary Pokémon rendered with incredible artistic flair. Illustrated by Oku, whose work is known for its painterly style and rich, vivid colors, the card brings a dramatic vision of the Legendary Pokémon charging through a gorge lit by lightning strikes. It’s a breathtaking piece that feels pulled from a centuries-old landscape, setting a new standard for visual appeal in card games.
But beauty isn’t the only feature; this card packs a punch. Raikou ex boasts a formidable attack dealing a whopping 200 damage in a single strike. However, to keep the balance—and the excitement—intact, the card incorporates a high-stakes mechanism. Players must perform a tails coin flip: if they win, Raikou ex cannot attack again during their subsequent turn. Furthermore, if an opponent defeats Raikou ex, they must take two Prize cards. It’s a true gamble, trading immense power for careful timing.
For those looking to capitalize on the electricity, the card also features a strategic ability. The Thunder-Clad ability allows the player to search their deck for an Energy card that attaches to Raikou ex on their first turn. This capability offers a crucial advantage, potentially setting up powerful attacks quickly, though it requires precise deck management.
The excitement builds as the Delta Reign expansion is set to launch in November. Fans are eagerly anticipating the card and the overall set, especially following the success of recent anniversaries. Whether you are looking to expand your collection or dive deeper into the world of Pokémon TCG, keeping an eye on this release is essential.
Details regarding pre-orders are available through various retailers, including Miniature Market, Amazon UK, and Walmart. Keep an eye out for this explosive new card as the Delta Reign set launches and prepare to experience the thrill of Raikou ex.
