Soulframe finally looks like a fantasy RPG
The beginning of any great adventure rarely arrives with a gentle introduction. For many of us, the true entry point into a sprawling world like Soulframe is often marked by an unexpected, frankly insulting encounter.
This is the story of how one first met destiny—or at least, a truly peculiar acquaintance. My very first memory of stepping into the world of Soulframe was less about awe and more about being thoroughly insulted by what I can only describe as a magical string bean.
Technically speaking, this infuriating figure is a Sproutfolk. Yet, to my discerning eye, he is far more than just flora; he is a magical string bean afflicted with a particularly nasty cold. It’s the kind of character design that sets your teeth on edge, yet somehow manages to captivate you immediately.
I awoke in Alca with scant context and absolutely no guidance, yet somehow, this bewildering encounter was enough to kickstart an immediate sense of purpose. My only mandate upon waking was a single, relentless quest: to keep me busy.
This initial directive set the stage for an unpredictable journey. Faced with an unknown world and a highly irritating companion, the path ahead was anything but straightforward. It is in navigating these bewildering circumstances that the real story of growth begins—a saga fueled by curiosity, survival, and a healthy dose of exasperated wonder. The quest to keep busy became the first true challenge in this vibrant new reality.
