Unlock More Ubisoft Games on PC with New Content and Free Rewards
Ubisoft and Xbox Unveil Massive Cross-Platform Content Expansion
The gaming landscape just got a whole lot bigger. Ubisoft and Xbox have teamed up to deliver a significant content expansion, seamlessly bridging the gap between console and PC players with exciting new editions, add-ons, and incredible free redemption opportunities.
This partnership brings a broad selection of digital games featuring premium editions and exclusive add-on content directly to the XBOX on PC application. Fans can now dive into major titles like Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Skull and Bones, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, alongside a trove of beloved franchise entries from Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, The Crew, and Watch Dogs.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Xbox console players are set to benefit from an exclusive offer: they can snag the PC version of select games at no additional cost. This move allows players to experience their favorite titles across multiple platforms instantly, unlocking new ways to play some of the most popular franchises.
Which games qualify for this free redemption? A substantial list includes titles such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Skull and Bones, Riders Republic, The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs Legion.
For those who already own the digital XBOX console versions of these titles, access to the PC experience is coming via Ubisoft Connect. While some customers receive immediate access to both versions upon purchase, existing owners will receive their PC versions during a progressive rollout period leading up to August 4th.
One key detail for gamers transitioning between platforms is how content transfers. The great news is that the game editions and DLC content owned on Xbox will transfer directly to the PC version at no extra cost. This means more of your purchased content follows you wherever you play.
However, there are a few exceptions to this cross-platform freedom. Consumable items, such as in-game currency or one-time-use content, do not transfer. While the core game experience and ownership move seamlessly, specific in-game currencies are excluded from this offering.
Players looking to check their ownership details can access everything through Ubisoft Connect PC, where they can see all owned editions and a detailed breakdown of their DLC and add-on content for every title. The goal is simple: more games, more cross-platform freedom, and endless gaming possibilities.
