In a move that blends military service with pop culture obsession, one US Army unit in Georgia is offering soldiers a unique incentive to re-enlist: a four-day pass timed to coincide with the highly anticipated launch of GTA 6.

This creative incentive program is specifically for soldiers at Fort Stewart in Georgia, within the Army’s 9th Brigade Engineering Battalion. The idea behind the promotion was to create an incentive that spoke directly to what soldiers are interested in, aiming to boost morale and encourage them to pursue a renewed commitment to service.

So far, the offer has drawn some interest. An Army spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Angel Tomko, explained that the command team and career counselors sought to excite soldiers about reenlisting by connecting service with their leisure interests.

The deal is straightforward: soldiers who sign a re-enlistment contract between August 1 and November 14 will receive the four-day pass. The catch, however, is that this opportunity comes with a requirement to re-enlist for a minimum of two years in the Army.

The timing is perfectly aligned with the game’s arrival. GTA 6 is set to launch on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and it is already projected to be one of the most highly anticipated entertainment releases of all time, potentially generating millions in preorders.

While the game’s massive commercial success is already underway, the Army is offering its troops a chance to trade a few days of leisure for a renewed commitment to their service. This unique incentive aims to connect the daily realities of military life with the shared excitement of modern entertainment, offering a memorable reward to those who choose to remain part of the force.
