Claim Rewards While Climbing in MW4 Beta
Get ready to dive into the fray, Call of Duty fans! The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta kicks off this Friday, August 21, offering players a chance to test out the new content and, more importantly, earn some seriously sweet rewards.
Activision is leaning into the classic Call of Duty experience by rewarding players for their progression, just like in previous betas. It turns playing into a quest for loot, with exclusive items waiting for those who climb the ranks.
The rewards system is designed to keep engagement high. Players start unlocking emblems at level 4, and the charms begin appearing at level 8, running all the way up to level 30. For those who reach the pinnacle, a weapon blueprint awaits at level 30, adding a tangible goal to the competitive grind.
The full spectrum of beta rewards is extensive, offering a diverse collection of in-game items for every milestone:
- Level 4: Emblem
- Level 8: Charm
- Level 12: Weapon sticker
- Level 16: Calling Card
- Level 20: Operator Skin
- Level 23: Spray
- Level 26: Loading Screen
- Level 30: Weapon Blueprint
Beyond the cosmetic loot, the beta lets players explore new content. Early access players can jump into the campaign mission Entrenched and explore the brand-new Warzone map, Zodiac. To give everyone a chance to play, the open beta will be free for all players from August 28 through September 1.
The hype is building as Activision has released a new trailer showcasing the multiplayer elements of MW4, and the footage looks incredibly promising.
For those who pre-order the game, you’ll get an added bonus: one week of early access to unlock the campaign, giving you a head start on the narrative.
When MW4 officially launches on October 23, it will be available across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2. This marks a massive moment for the franchise, as it will be the first Call of Duty game to arrive on a Nintendo platform since Call of Duty: Ghosts back in 2013.
