They can now feature up to five badges in their profile card showcase, allowing for a curated presentation of their achievements, while still having the option to hide individual badges from public view. Navigating vast libraries of games and achievements shouldn’t be a chore. A powerful new local search feature has been introduced to help players quickly locate specific titles within large lists. Whether searching through My games & apps, official club achievement lists, or personal profile history, this search works alongside existing filters to help players pinpoint exactly what they are looking for in seconds.
Elevating Remote Play to New Heights
For those who love playing across different devices, the Remote Play experience is getting a serious upgrade. With XBOX Insiders in the testing phases, players are previewing higher-quality streaming, supporting up to 1440p resolution and increased video bitrates. This means sharper visuals and smoother gameplay when streaming from your Xbox console to PCs, phones, or TVs. Since Remote Play uses the Xbox console you already own, these improvements are available to all players without needing additional subscriptions.
To take full advantage of these enhanced streaming capabilities, Insiders are encouraged to ensure their console’s Display resolution is set to 1440p or 4K UHD in Settings > General > TV & display options. Furthermore, players can now stream games while they are downloading or updating, keeping gameplay uninterrupted and drastically cutting down on wait times.
Clearer Communication and Party Play
Improving how players connect with each other is another focus. Insiders on the Xbox Series X|S are testing Voice Clarity, an enhanced audio experience designed to reduce everyday background noise.
