Gears of War and 11 Games on Xbox Game Pass
The Xbox Game Pass calendar is officially kicking off a new month with a blockbuster lineup, promising a chaotic and diverse collection of experiences for subscribers. As we dive into the new era, the service is delivering a whirlwind of action, adventure, and bizarre fun, ensuring that there is something for every mood and every genre.
Leading the charge this month are some serious heavy hitters. Prepare for pure, unadulterated mayhem with Gears of War: E-Day, a title celebrated for its gleefully loud, violent, and undeniably awesome combat. Adding to the excitement is the highly anticipated launch of Minecraft Dungeons 2, which proves that ambition—even when paired with some flaws—is a winning formula for a massive dungeon crawler experience.
Beyond the heavy hitters, the first wave of releases is packed with fresh adventures. Subscribers can jump straight into the world of Echo Weaver, an adventure where time itself is the most precious resource, or embark on a redemption road trip with Forever Ago, a single-player journey focused on setting things right.
The mid-month schedule throws some massive scope into the mix. On October 13th, fans can engage in large-scale warfare with Battlefield 6, alongside the mind-bending, first-person soulslike experience of Valor Mortis, set against the backdrop of the Napoleonic Wars. For those seeking something more exploratory than pure brutality, the survival exploration game Deep Dish Dungeon offers hand-crafted dungeons and intricate metroidvania elements.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. On October 15th, the roster expands again with family fun and chaotic co-op action. Subscribers get to shoot the Heeler family in the day-one release of Bluey’s Happy Snaps, and dive into a co-op gladiator roguelike experience with Chained Beasts, where teamwork and chains are your only allies.
Rounding out this exciting period is a cosmic journey. On October 16th, players can build an empire on the back of a Space Whale and explore the vast cosmos in the day-one release of Beyond These Stars. This diverse mix of high-octane shooters, deep exploration, and whimsical adventures solidifies Game Pass as the ultimate destination for gamers ready to experience anything.
