Executive director Hiroshi Tanibuchi explains the philosophy behind this shift, emphasizing that the tools allow players to take the foundational elements of Konami’s games and add their personal touch. “In Wai Wai World Craft,” Tanibuchi notes, “you can use existing games as a building block and add your personal touch by changing the rules, introducing new enemies and gameplay mechanics, and customizing the stages and game world.”
The mechanics themselves echo the success of massive titles like Roblox and Minecraft, offering players tools for creation and sharing that encourage endless experimentation.
