Trevor belts GTA 6 streaming plans
Steven Ogg, the familiar face brought to life as Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V, spent what felt like an eternity pretending the sprawling video game world didn’t exist. Now, thirteen years later, he is finally embracing the legacy, diving headfirst into the world of Rockstar Games.
This slow evolution has recently turned into a lively online event. Ogg has been participating in a series of Grand Theft Auto V livestreams hosted by his co-star, Michael actor Ned Luke, bringing the legendary franchise back into the spotlight. In the latest episode, Ogg didn’t just acknowledge the existence of the future, GTA 6; he openly floated the idea of streaming the upcoming sequel alongside Luke, expressing vague but palpable excitement for what lies ahead.
This shift marks a significant change from his previous public stance. Back in February 2025, Ogg had maintained that he wouldn’t be playing the next installment, insisting he didn’t hate the series. Now, however, his enthusiasm for Rockstar’s upcoming behemoth seems to have caught up with him.
When asked about the future, Ogg immediately suggested, “We should also do this with the new one, when the GTA 6 comes out.” He added that the anticipation of the new game, its animation, and changes, would be “kind of fun.”
Luke readily agreed to the prospect, planning to finish his own playthrough of GTA V before the release of GTA 6 on November 19th to ensure a smooth transition. The interaction took a playful turn when Ogg asked Luke if he was “in touch with” the game developers, leading to a moment of nervous laughter and teasing. Luke, caught off guard, responded with a nervous denial before acknowledging Ogg’s playful mischief.
Ogg continued to muse about the experience, expressing curiosity not just about the new game, but about the characters themselves, reflecting on how much he has learned about the world of Grand Theft Auto over the last twelve years.
While Ogg’s tone remains somewhat vague, the overall sentiment is clear: whether it’s pure excitement or just friendly banter with a long-time colleague, this engagement signals a huge leap forward from his earlier reluctance. It seems the actor is ready to fully embrace the chaotic, sprawling universe he has been a part of for so long.
