Motor Racing adds 9 new cars and a new track next month
Get ready to rev your engines, racing fans, because Giants Software and Straight4 Studios are about to unleash a heavyweight addition to Project Motor Racing: the V8 Power Pack. This massive new DLC is set to land next month, bringing nine iconic V8 race cars from various eras of motorsport, along with a stunning, fully scanned version of the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
Mark your calendars: the V8 Power Pack will arrive on September 15, promising a fresh injection of classic muscle and high-octane racing into the game world. This isn’t just a collection of cars; it’s a journey through automotive history, ready for intense competition.
The core of the pack focuses on resurrecting some of the most legendary engines and machines. Players will be diving into three brand new classes within the garage, each offering a distinct racing experience:
First, there is the V8 Evo class, featuring the modern Australian-spec versions of the Ford Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro that dominate Australia’s Supercars racing scene. These cars promise a blend of contemporary speed and aggressive styling.
Next up is the USV8 class, which brings the contemporary muscle of the 2022 Dodge Challenger TA/2, the 2022 Ford Mustang TA/2, and the 2022 Camaro TA/2. This class offers fast, modern performance right out of the gate.
For those who crave pure nostalgia, the Historic USV8 class is where the true legends reside. This category features classic muscle cars in their finest Trans Am road racing trim, including the legendary 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302, the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, the 1970 AMC Javelin, and the iconic 1968 Camaro Z28. Prepare to unleash some serious horsepower history.
The V8 Power Pack builds perfectly on previous expansions, following the excitement generated by the recent release of the July’s Aussie Rivals pack. That previous release delivered speed with the 2013 Holden VF Commodore and the completely reworked 2013 Ford Falcon FG, setting a high bar for engine diversity.
With the V8 Power Pack arriving soon, Project Motor Racing is gearing up for an unprecedented celebration of automotive greatness. Get ready to pit these powerful machines against each other and prove which V8 titan reigns supreme.
